Ride in to work today.
« on: August 13, 2014, 01:12:01 PM »

So the Temps in Houston, Tx this am were lower than normal  ( no humidity and no rain ) So me and the CVO Limited were headed down the street and I see the neighbor getting his ride out.   I think perfect a riding buddy to work..  we meet at the stop sign onto the main country road and he says " can you keep up"  i am thinking who is this guy talking too...   so we head down the 40 mph road and i look down were doing 70 mph.   hummm  we get to the freeway and were in the far left lane and were doing 90 mph,   what is this clown doing...  late or something...    we slow down to 75  due to some traffic, and then jump on the HOT/ HOV lane into Houston..   75 mph again,   I am like  kool,   to work early today...    I get off the HOV lane  half way into downtown and he heads into downtown to make his 6 am roll call..   Always nice to be riding with a police officer...

BTW:   bike felt more stable at 90 than 75..  could be the fork wind defectors..  ????????????

Do you have any pictures installed of the fork mounted deflectors?

I've thought about installing them too.. I ride a lot of 90mph on my 10 SEUC and would like a little more stability at higher speeds.  I switched to the Klock Werks windshield and it did help but at those speeds the front end feels light.

I forgot pics.   I took them off for a ride this weekend.  Gonna compare with and without.

Weather was nice here too. Took the long scenic 115 mile route to work instead of the 35 mile normal route
