There are plenty of guys here who would know this better than I but it looks to me to be a bit white, therefor, lean.  How many miles on it?

Looks a bit worn with a lot of deposits on it to me.  As for color, these days you aren't going to get that golden tan color you see on all those really old wall charts still hanging in many shops.  White to an extremely light tan is normal these days.  And to get technical, you don't actually read plugs by looking at the tip.  A lighted magnifier is used to check color down near the base of the insulator, inside the shell.  You aren't likely to find anyone in your friendly Harley shop reading plugs, or very many other places for that matter.  Now that we have electronics that allow real time testing of air/fuel ratios we don't need to read plugs to check for proper AFR.

I just thought it looks a little sooty around the edges and thought it might be carbon from unburned fuel.  I noticed a sooty build up in the joint on the Reinhart muffle tip.   It may have built up during the tuning process and thought someone might know if it looked ok.  I am going to put some fresh plugs in tomorrow and go for a 100 mile ride and see how they look.  I will also clean up the pipes before I go, and see if there is any build up after the ride.  It runs nice, but my mileage sucked on the first tank after getting the tune.  I just might have twisted the throttle a little to much on that tank.   ;D

How about like these?
These had about 60K miles on them, thus the condition of the electrodes! LOL

Those plugs look good to me.  I'd have no problem with those at all.   :2vrolijk_21:

Let us know how the new set look. To me there is more than one issue going on. Plug is sooty which may be cold start or idle afr. All based on who tuned it , some shops today still live in the past and want to set closed loop to open and pound fuel to the engine to " run cool" That will create the black on the plug, and soot on the muffler. I see something there though where it has transferred deposit's .  Hard to see with the pic you took. And today's fuel is not going to leave the classic read you got on fuel from the past
