Wasn't sure where to post this so feel free to move if need be. Last weekend I crashed my 2005 SEEG and I'm in need of some parts for repairs. My question has to do with pre-2008 parts vs 2008 and up parts. Will items such as the crash bar, floorboard mounts, fairing front and saddlebags interchange between the two different designs? I've found some good deals on parts from years like 2012 but I'm not sure if they're the same or not.

I beleave that anything that attaches directly to the frame like crash bar,saddlebag supports etc will not fit due to the frame changes in 08. the bags should & front fairing should . "I have a set of bags"no hardware" off a 13 if you are interested listed in the classifieds".

If you can find the actual part numbers of the 2012 pieces in question, the part numbers themselves can provide some clues as to whether they fit your 2005 chassis.
