Long time since I have been on here. And this is an old subject for a somewhat older bike and a an even older technology.
Did anybody ever receive an updated SERT map for this bike? I purchased the SERT in January 2006 after getting my FLHTCUSE in December 2005 and it having the seemingly normal coughing/spitting issues of being too lean on the just off idle RPMs that we have all experienced with these bikes. I customized the then stock "36" map (file 141MP002) to add some fuel in that low RPM/MAP range and the coughing/spitting has been gone since.
Since then I have added the better air cleaner and the Fullsac cores and assume I can squeeze a little more performance out of the machine at this point, or at least make her run a little better than the pretty much stock map that is in it now.
Yes, I still have an old, tiny, Windows XP powered laptop that runs the SERT software just fine. In fact, just got through changing the idle slightly and decreasing the Decel Enleanment a bit to remove the deceleration pop that I started having after installing the Fullsac cores.
So I have the G disk, SERT version 4.5.3. Does anyone have a later version of the above file, or the customized file that Harley was supposed to have released after all the complaints about the issues this bike had? Or a customized file that works well in your bike that you would share?
On another note, anyone used the MyTune software from this site to tune their bikes?
