Barry Todd Heine
« on: September 07, 2014, 02:23:19 AM »

Hi I'm sure very few of you know me and honestly I'm not really sure myself how big of a group this is, so… If you don't know my father or me Im sorry for bothering you but, it has almost been one year since my dad passed away.  He was an awesome dude to say the least and unfortunately he left just shy of some of my more major accomplishments within the military.  He was always so proud of me and what I did telling everyone how awesome I was when in reality I was nothing special.  I wish he was around now to see me have become an EOD tech or to know that I was working alongside the secret service now to protect many VIP's and areas alike. As I'm gone working for my country over the next month I will also be recognizing the one year anniversary of my fathers passing.  Like I said before I'm sure most of you have no clue who I am other than the son of some fellow who used to be a part of this club but, I was hoping that if any of you have pictures of my father… photos you would like to share I would love to see them and hear anything you might have to say about my father and the brief time you may have spent with him. God bless.

Chris,
Congrats on your accomplishments and it is no bother at all about you posting and remembering your Dad. For those of us that were fortunate to meet him and knew how he felt about his family and kids it is our honor and pleasure that you would want to share with us how you are doing. Don't worry or think your Dad isn't seeing and aware of the man you have become, believe you me he is looking down with his big smile and is proud of what you have done. 2k has posted two links that have a lot if pictures that we had/could find of your Dad.

Stay safe, stay in touch with us, and thank you for serving. Tell Jessica "d00d" said hello.

Hi Chris.    We actually have met.   I was at the house a few times over the years and briefly saw everyone at the funeral.   Thanks so much for checking in. Great to read all you've done.  Very best to you and the siblings as you all keep on keeping on.  It's one of those warm fuzzy feelings we all need occasionally to think how proud Barry would be (is) of you guys.  Be well.

Hey Chris, it was always a pleasure riding with your Dad and no doubt would be a pleasure riding with you someday.

Thank you for your service.
