help my find this part !!

i am going crazy, i need this part. it goes on the fender of my 2009 cvo road glide, it snaps into the fender and holds the connector that goes to the tail light harness.  harley say it is part #  72199-94 no way.   that part is not correct.

Hard to tell from the parts (exploded view),  but it appears that it would be item (20)........and that part number matches what they told you.

Click on the above link,  then click on the (OEM HD Parts finder)..........then select your model yr (2009),  then go down the list and click on your CVO model........and then click on the tail light assembly..........There ya go. :drink:

You're right, that is NOT part number 72199-94. 

I've got a sneaking suspicion the retainer in your photo originally came as part of the wiring harness, attached to the connector.  Was it attached to the connector on the wire coming from the tail lamps, or the connector on the wiring coming from the main wire harness?

I can't find a photo of this part to verify it's what you're looking for, but at least the description is correct.  Try P/N 73213-07   RETAINER, XMAS TREE CLIP.  I would hope a decent sized dealership would have a supply of the various wiring clips on hand they could compare to yours.

i had a call into moco, they said it is part # 73213-07 grc you were correct.
