Flash (new name for the bike)
is back in the garage after the fire damage repairs
took the bike for a ride to see how the new brakes worked and for riding in general after almost 3 weeks
and all went well until I almost got home and the same damn thing started happening again!
this time I pulled on the rear brake pedal and all was good again
and once I got home I started looking real close at the new 3" extension forward controls I put on!
and went Damn!
I almost lost my bike to fire because I had a washer in the wrong position!
pulled up the Kuryakn instructions and they showed nothing but once I started looking closer, it made sense where I screwed up
but it would of helped to of had instructions!
there is so little play in the pedal that when I would put on the brake, it was getting hung up on the mounting plate and keeping the pads engaged!
and why the fire was caused by the pads catching fire then the dot 5!
