As warmer weather comes upon us here in ga some of my brothers wonder why I ride with a leather jacket or my joe rocket..

If it had been Harley rider he would have been killed. T shirts jeans and half helmets would have not done the job. I wish I could get motivated to put that stuff on. maybe I just need to break down and buy the hew Kawasaki ZX-10R. ;)

saw something like that in apache junction AZ this winter. came upon a bike laying in the middle of the street and a cage parked close to it. after getting closer I could see a helmet and shoulders sticking out from under the cage. the muffler on the cage was across the rider's back and he was being cooked alive. myself and probably 8 or 10 others rocked the cage enough so the rider could be pulled from beneath the car. the guys pelvis was no where in line with the rest of his body and you could tell he was hurt bad. he wasn't as fortunate as the rider in the news story mentioned here.

The rider sideswiped a car then fell in front of the truck. He was darn lucky, could have been much worse.
