Just wondering if anyone knows how to manually start the cooling fans. My dealer showed me one time but i forgot what he did.  I was thinking today that I have not heard the fans come on and I just wanted to check them.  I know I can just let the bike idle and see if they come on but its late and don't want to make all the noise.  thanks

Set the run/stop switch to RUN, do not start the bike, and open the throttle to more than half throttle and hold it.  After a few seconds the fans will run, first one and then the second.  Flip the switch to STOP to conclude the test.

well they work so maybe  since its kinda cool out the engine hasn't got hot enough to turn them on.  Oh well  at least they work
