I put the 93' up for sale today on a couple of the mustang forums so I can
see if I can get my hands on this, 04 Stage 1 Roush, one owner

will take a hit on the 93 but someone will get a great car
then I'll need to work the guys with the 04, think they are asking to much

just trying to work my way back up
will see,
if it does work out the way I hope, that's fine,
the Cobra can stay

Good looking car, Bromebe.  Looks like the standard stage 1 Roush with the cobra hood and Roush front nose piece.  Good looking color....really pops with those chrome wheels.

yes Stage 1's are basically the cobra with the Roush first stage appearance package,
stage 2, some suspension and then stage 3's are where they get into engine upgrades

not looking for that type, and this car being a one owner with 18,000 makes it appealing to me

Got the paper work going to get the 93 into consignment, just don't have time to deal with ads and phone calls myself again and having some knot head trying to tell me my car is only worth $12.00 but they would give me $15.00!
let the consignment shop deal with it / them!

when they have to wait they have babies!

so the Fire Damage repairs are still on going on the bike but the last part is due in tomorrow
and
I've had the itch again to try and move Back up the ladder on my Car Collection
so while I wait
I shop

I mentioned about the 93 cobra I have and is being sold
and
I've been looking at this 2004 Roush stage 1

Finally confirmed yesterday that it is
1 of 1 Torch Red Coupe's and
only
1 of 4 made in 2004
the other 3 where grey, white and black

And finally got the dealer to fess up that yes, they where jacking the asking price up
because of it being a 1 of 1
low mileage car

but could not find anywhere, where facts showed me or them it was worth what they where asking for it
it is just a 2004 Cobra with a Roush stage 1 Appearance package, no upgrades on engine or suspension!
they don't do those until the Stage 3 models.

Told him yesterday it was like an episode of
American Pickers
where they came across something they wanted but the guy put
a "Don't want to Sale" price on it!

so
I'm having a conversation with them this morning to
offer, counter offer, etc. and see if we can come to an agreement that we both could live with

this has to be the last one!
30 is a nice even number to stop at!

my last car before the 93 was over 600 HP
the 93 Cobra is whipping out a whopping 230!
so
at least I could end up in the middle with this car pushing 390!

Good luck and hope it works out for ya. I had an '01 Mustang GT (True Blue) and loved it, was the first brand-new car I bought in my life. Always wanted a Cobra or something better, just wasn't in my budget. That was the longest I ever kept any vehicle ... I think I had it for about 7 or 8 yrs. I think I changed the exhaust on that thing a half dozen times until I kept the Magnaflow hi-flow X pipe with Flowmaster American Thunder catback ... sounded awesome. Miss that car ...

the 93 Cobra is being picked up tomorrow,
and
the boys in Florida and I have come to a mutual agreement

that
1 of 1 Torch Red 2004 Cobra Roush Stage 1 coupes would look better in my garage than in their show room!
they only made a total of 4 in 2004 one in each color and two of them no longer exist!

Beautiful car! My better half has the 2013 GT Conv..  It is at 400HP and 400 Lbs stock.  Amazing what the have been doing with production performance over the last few years.

today will be a big phone day

with sending the 93 to Dallas, working with those folks on selling the car, (only $150 to consign and sell, no percentage of the sale after) and they post on all the sites with 50 pictures,
then
talking to JJ Best in Main to see if I should just go for it on the Roush now with a totally new loan and not wait for the 93 to clear?
and
with Florida to secure the Roush with down payments, they will hold for a couple of weeks if need
then run to the house and take the car over to the carrier!

after doing this 29 other times you'd think I'd get use to it or learn how to "Lease"!

2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca (street legal track car) drove it like I stole it!

The Swithblade has the whole Garage to itself now,
for a while!
It's all a done deal
with the exception of the paperwork!
which I will complete in the morning

The '93 didn't last long at the place in Dallas....that's a good thing.  Looks like it went for what you were a'thinkin, too.  Good deal.
