For just touring do the shocks make that big of a difference that it is worth tossing the OEM on day one? Just wondering...
I guess the only way to find out would be for me to test spin one with aftermarkets.
Harley air shocks SUCK.
The hand adjustable premium that come on CVO Steet glides, road glides and road kings since 2012 are quite a bit better than the air shocks.
The Ohlins are a LOT better than the HD premium which I thought were good after the air shocks. However after 6700 miles on the ohlins they are way better once set up right. Like them so much better on my 15 SERGU that I am hoping to add them to my 12 SERK
Better ride on the interstate, and a much better ride and Handling in the curves, especially if you push it in the curves.
