2004 Twin cam build
« on: February 03, 2015, 06:46:16 PM »

Working on a build up for a 2004 B motor  Using S&S  97" kit and sent heads to a local head guru.  I'm thinking of the hybrid cam plate from SE  True dual softail exaust with slip ons, PCV , and an SE air cleaner    What would be a good cam to use?   I've used Andrews 37 with good results on some 95" stuff  Anything new and improved out there ?

The 37 worked well then and still works well now. Take a look at the new S&S cam plate and oil pump that were just released if you are considering the upgrade. Beautiful pieces that show superior performance in comparison to others. The S&S new unit is a 3 stage setup that scavenges well beyond the SE version and keeps aeration of oil down very low also. Killer product.

That newer 57 is a good cam.
Really a high-lift version of the 37, with a little twist.
Been using those in 98"ers and 107" combo's here with oustanding results.
