Are you looking for an air pump for tires or (older) OEM air shocks?

Rear shocks
You will want one specifically designed to fill shocks and not a compressor that would be used on tires.... if memory serves me correctly you don't want one that provides quick/lot of pressure but one that will deliver the volume you want/need. Something like the MoCo offers...

Touring Suspension Air Pump-54630-03A

Digital Touring Suspension Air Pump-54000033

You may want to post a thread in the "Buying" board for either of those... many members that have gone to aftermarket shocks may have one of those they want to get rid of.

For just touring do the shocks make that big of a difference that it is worth tossing the OEM on day one?  Just wondering...

I guess the only way to find out would be for me to test spin one with aftermarkets.

Yes it does. HD suspension is garbage. They actually made the front better with the 50mm tubes but rear is still crap.

for the shocks I bought a Progressive pump back in 1998 for $45 and it finally dry rotted last year.  I now have a HD 54630-03A as mentioned above for $55.  It works great and if it lasts as long I will be happy.  And I leave the stock shocks on but keep an eye on the pressure according to the table in the owners manual.
