113 rebuild, 6.2 injectors
« on: January 19, 2015, 03:17:20 PM »

Hi all,
In the process of a rebuild to 113, having my SE50mm throttle body rebored to 54mm, can I fit 6.2 injectors and will it
tune up ok?

Thanks

That is a huge injector and when you go too big on the injectors your idle and low rpm will suffer.  How did you calculate that you need that large of an injector?

I didn`t, its just I have the chance to obtain a very good deal on a set of 6.2 injectors, but will give them a miss if there going cause problems, will try and find a set of 5.3`s instead.

Thanks for the info.

I think they would work.  I would recommend a smaller injector.  6.2's are expensive and looking at others.  It might be cheaper to buy smaller even with a decent price for the 6.2.
