S&S Upgrades
« on: August 14, 2015, 09:02:22 PM »

I bit the bullet over the last 3 months and got the cams, lifters, oil pump and cam plate replaced with S&S components on my 2014 SERK. Also just had the new 110 high comp S&S pistons fitted. This goes with the Bassani pipe, TTS tuner, larger matched injectors and dyno tuned. The engine is now perfect, the last dyno run showing 112bhp and 118ft-lbs. Pulls like a train exactly where I want it and sounds great, without being obnoxious.

I know that the 2014 110 seems to be more robust, but I love the bike and intend to hang onto it for many years and wanted some long term confidence and reliability.

I would post the dyno graphs, but I seem to be unable to shrink the picture down to the allowable size to post. Will play around in the sand box and see if I can get it too work........

What cam did you use B/G?

It is the DR 585 easy start cam. The invoice line is a bit like alphabet soup, so if there are letters missing I can throw in some more!

Konquer in Kelowna, a guy called Josh. Comes highly rated and I am very pleased with what he has done.

Not sure, but given that they are next door to each other, it's highly likely. He always seems to have plenty of work on and always comes out for a chat and to go through the dyno sheet when I have collected after work has been done. Seems to have a good rep with local riders I have spoken to.
