Removing right saddlebag - iPod disconnect question FLTRUSE

THe manual says theres a white arrow that shows were the cable disconnects, but it doesn't say how and I don't want to damage it.
Does it put apart or do you twist it or squeeze and pull?

Do not twist it. Grab the collar that has the arrow on it and slide the collar back to pull it apart.
