On the '15, if your alarm (red) light still comes on, start the motor and turn your emergency flashers on for at least 20 seconds.  Turn off and shut off motor.  If that does not work after two tries, turn ignition on and pull main fuse for about 30 seconds.  Turn ignition switch off before reinserting fuse.

On the '08, you will need a resistor (real name of load equalizer).  Kuryakyn or Custom Dynamics are fine but any American made resistor is fine.  Superbrightleds.com is another source.  Hope this helps.  The "module" will not take the place of a resistor.   Hope this helps.

I found a Badlands module that does everything. Its a run/stop/turn module with a built in load equalizer. Custom Dynamics and Bike Tronics both modules and load equalizer would have to be hooked inline.

I installed one of those gadgets along with my trailer wiring. Well one day my trailer lights weren't working. Test showed gadget was not working anymore so out it came wired direct with fuse inline with each wire all works fine now. Out of the last three bikes this was the only one I added it to so don't think I will use one again. I know you guys are talking about LED lights so my situation may be different.
