$110.00 and Geroge will pay the shipping? Way cheaper than the Kuryakyn (189.00) if it would work.

When I ordered the kit for my '07 jester George told me I needed the amplifier adapter and that bumps it up around the $140.  Somehow he thought we needed to hang the amp from his bracket.  Said he had looked at a bike with the amp.  Maybe the one Harley sells for retrofit is different than what is on our SE Ultras.  Don't know.  Anyway, I did NOT need the amp bracket and returned it to George, no problem.  Price without the amp bracket is $112 delivered.

IMO his bracket is far superior to the Kury even if it would fit our bikes.  I don't mind paying for a real quality part.  It is just paying a premium for a mediocore part that chaps me.

All the tourpaks use that support, not just the '07 bikes, and not just the CVO's.

I'd like to ask just a couple more questions about George's tour pak relocator.

Any chance someone can post a picture of his/hers '07 SEUC with George's bracket (and tour pak with backrest) mounted? I'd sure like to see what the final product looks like on the bike. Am curious as to how it changes the profile.

Does the adapter change the amount of weight that can be carried in the tour pak?

Also, would someone have an email address for George? I'm not able to easily place phone calls from here.

Thanks.

Charles,

As to the pic of an '07, they are the same as the '06 for the tourpak (except the lock inside you can't see anyways).  It moves the tourpak back about 2.5 inches, you don't really notice it in a pic, but if you have to see it, you can in my sig pic, there is a chrome dot behind the bar that wraps around the bottom of the tourpak, that is the rear most bolt for the relo-kit, other than that you really can't tell it's on the bike.  A passenger that has sat on the bike without it, will certainly be able to tell the difference once installed.

No the adapter doesn't change the weight that can be carried in the tourpak.  George's relo-kit is probably alot stronger than the original mount.

As has been said, George has no email address or website.  He's old and not into technology like that, his cell phone posted earlier is the only way to reach him right now....and probably the most sophisticated technological advance George has.
