Took until the following afternoon to get him out.... didn't make it all that far on the "dragon" but made it quite a way from "fugitive bridge" and a looong way from the signs about trucks not supposed to be on that route...

If I remember NC bans them from their side (where it looks like this trucker started) and TN "advises" trucks to chose an alternate route.

As of 1 January 2015 TN also Bans trucks on US-129 the dragon, its well posted.

Stupid to try that on a nice day.  Not even sure the word to describe some on trying that after an Ice storm.

Tell me about it....that's exactly what I thought when I saw the report....and as others have stated, it's dang lucky he didn't end up closer to sea level!
