hey Guy's, I am slowly getting in the market for a trailer, and wanted to get the hitch in the next month or so. Is there a retailer that offers a better price on them than bushtec themselves. Or should I just go straight to them for the hitch and wiring.

Bushtec has a very well made wiring harness with a plug on the end to cover the connection. If you don't have a Bushtec trailer you can get both ends and adapt to your brand trailer. The connecton snaps together. I also installed their relay but it failed after a couple of years so I just removed it and wired direct with fuses inline on all wires.

You might find a used one on fleaBay, Craigsfist, or one of the forums.  If you find a used one, make sure it is for your year, since they are different for pre-2009 vs '09-later (frame change).

I have one for a 2009 Street Glide, check and see if that model works for the bike you want to put it on.

Hi GtreetSlide , thanks for the offer but I beleave the street glides have an extended rear fender which requires version1 or 3 of the hitchs, I need version 2. but thanks for the offer.
