Looking for CVO Radio Flash Info.
« on: March 04, 2015, 12:08:59 PM »

My bike is at my dealer having my new Boom Stage II audio system looked at.  Long story short, something isn't right.  The sound when riding is a step backwards, and the speakers cut out at higher volumes.   I'm thinking of calling Harley to see if they will take the system out so I can return to stock.   I'm trying to find out what the stock settings are in the 6.5CVO radio from the factory.

Could you please perform the following steps using the on board audio diagnostic tool:
1. Put run switch in the RUN position.
2. Hold the MUTE button on the radio while turning the ignition on.
3. Wait until the confirmation message comes up.
4. Confirm (Agree) and release the MUTE button.
5. In the AUDIO section select EQ. That will list all applicable EQ and audio options.
6. Scroll through to find the one that is currently loaded (orange background).

Please post what .bin file your bike shows along with the make and model of the bike?  If you've changed your speakers or amp, please also post that.

Dave

Sorry I can't help with your request. My 14 is at the dealers for infotainment issues right now (third time) if they can't get it right this time I'm going to ask for my 13 back ( kicking myself for letting her go ).  :'( :'( :'(

It is  14_OFF.bin , that is what is on mine.

I'm wondering if there is some residual that is left behind when flashed and they actually cleared the whole unit and then flashed it, did you speak with Andrew or Phil, if so, what info did they give you?

I called the shop a couple of times, but kept getting caught up in their Service Dept. phone tree.  I never spoke to an actual human :-(  I'll keep trying though.
