FLHTCUSE7 iPod wiring harness in right side saddlebag
« on: April 04, 2015, 08:52:16 PM »

Can anyone help me with the part number for wiring harness that the iPod clips into in the right saddlebag of my FLHTCUSE7. Unbelievably the dealer says he cannot figure out the part number for the short segment that goes from the iPod to the main wiring harness. I need to replace it as the clip that secures the iPod and holds it tight has broken and it works itself loose when riding. Sure would appreciate any assistance you boys might be able to provide. Thank you in advance.

are you referencing item #24 below?  if so, that is pn: 69200157.  that booger has an msrp of $105....  also note, i couldn't find anything like this on the fiche for your model, that is from the 2013 roadglide custom......

on my 2010, the plastic clips on the side of that piece broke, so once you had it plugged in, it was very difficult to unplug.  but rather than paying that ridiculous price for that cable, i bought a 30 pin ipod extension from amazon.  cost right about $2.50 or so.  i plugged that into the hd ipod cable and then used a piece of shrink wrap around the hd cable plug and the adapter and then shrunk it.  after that, all i had to do was to plug in the ipod, and pull to unplug.  i never had a problem with it unplugging by itself.

Can you wave your arms just a little faster? Snow still here. Maybe I will head up your way and eat some of those 'mud bugs' and shrimp you folks have there. I will bring a couple lobster.
Thanks again.
