Ladies and Gentlemen,
Loaded Maudie at OTIS's yesterday morning, and she hit right off! Ahhh....the wonders of EFI! I don't think she had been started since Memorial Day, last. Stopped at Tilley's, in Statesville, NC, and had a good time with Don, Neil Taylor, and my old friend, John Cartner. Then, proceded to Matthews, to bum some "Blue Fuel", from Silver-Black. I tried to pay him for it, but he refused my $$. That scares me. Anyway, he gave me some directions to Myrtle Beach that were supposed to be a short-cut. Yeah, right. I left his Mansion at about noon, and I got to Myrtle at 7:00 p.m., last night! Jeeze, I can get there from WV, in 6 hours! That 5 gallons of 112, cost me! [smiley=sauer021.gif] you, Chip! That said, took the Ol' Girl out today, and flat had a BLAST! Damn, that felt good! BTW, Chip's new Thunder-Mountain Motorsickle, was MIA! Guess it won't be a STOCK 120, when it re-appears, huh, Chip? How's that work? You buy a new 120, ride it, and then think, "Chit, this needs to run better this, to bust Ol' Maudie." It's gonna' be fun! Called and rented an Ultra for our Crew Chief, Billy Poindexter, to ride tomorrow. Should be a fun day! Later--HUBBARD
