Getting the grip off

Dumb question...How do you get the stock left side grip off the handlebarsof a '15 SESG??? Every time I need to changes grips I always did bars at the same time......Now I just want to replace the grips--will do the bars next year.

Loosen or remove the screws for the switch housing.  The left grips these days aren't glued on, but held in place by the switch housing similar to the throttle side.
