CVO Street Glide Limited ShowerHead testing
« on: August 02, 2014, 06:49:26 PM »

Well, here we go again. We have been able to get a CVO SG 110 ShowerHead for testing for a short while, so we pulled the 103 ShowerHead out and have started on the 110 to get as much done as we can with the time allowed. Since the 103 ShowerHead is a company owned bike it gets pushed back on the test list. Today we got the bike all baselined in STOCK as supplied by HD trim. 84.34 Hp, 96 ft lbs. Next we started into tuning it as supplied. Finished tuned new numbers are 88.14 Hp and 103.85. I should be able to get the dyno graphs up next week but we are now removing the exhaust and installing the Fulsac DX and baffles. The bike will get retuned for those, then back to swapping camshafts and tuning again. We will get as much done as we can before we have to return the bike to the owner. As we get results finished up I will add to this post.

Don't mean to be a total dummy here, But what is a "shower head"?  Is it the liquid cooled bikes? If so, there is no SG CVO 110 this year. I'm Confused.

Hell, looked like a SG to me but I guess it's real name is Limited from looking at the HD site. I'm not big on all the names HD swaps around all the time, sorry for my mistake. Yes, we have come to call it a ShowerHead instead of TwinCooled. Seems to fit better with the old names better, PanHead ect.

Steve will you be testing the s&s mr103? My 2013 cvo is set up exactly the same as your test bike. I am very interested to see a side by side of the 255 vs mr103.

Once completed the final calibrations are being added to our supplied calibration list. As for the MR103 camshaft that is not one we have in house for testing. If I remember correctly we have the 510,551, 570, 583 and 585. The 510 is a waste of time in a 110 and the 551 is pretty much the same as the 255 that comes in the bike stock so we will only be testing the 570, 583 and 585 as time allows. What we do is divide up the time we have and try to do a few from each supplier. With 7 suppliers on the shelf, we will get done what time allows us to do.
