I've had to use the Roush for the last 4 days since Saturday
fun car to drive but not as a daily driver with it raining everyday!

cleaned the 2010 F150 Platinum  Saturday and went to roll the
sunroof back to clean and boom!
the track snapped!,

not good! raining every day and now the sunroof is wide open.
3:00 on Saturday I'm rolling back up to the dealer.
knowing all I would hear from some service manager would be
"do you have an extended warranty!"

Bought the truck bran new,
two weeks after I had it I rolled the sun roof up a little on a trip to San Antonio and
a rock hit the lip! I got it closed that time but it wouldn't open
so the dealer replaced it,
I literally did not try it again until Saturday and boom!

63,000, well past any warranty and I've never needed an extended warranty
so they called Ford and they are going to honor the replacement!

Good thing, I had the list of vehicles I've bought from them in hand and ready to go to war!

I'm pleased but surprised to hear Ford agreed to honor the replacement - good for you Bromebe...

That is very surprising. You have to wonder if there have been a lot of issues with them to make them want to fix it.
No matter, though, awesome that they took care of you!

I made sure they knew it literally had not been used since they replaced it in the first place
and
the list of trucks and the Boss 302 Laguna Sega I bought right off the show room floor came up!

I'm sure they pulled the customer history and how many times he / I had or hadn't used the service department!
Gold star for customer and Never on the service department!

when they call you and say you are on the list to get one of the 64 anniversary Mustangs if I want then you know someone is watching!

finally got the call the truck was ready so
I stopped by on the way home to see what the damage was, without the wife standing by me

the had to replace the complete sun roof assembly, to do this and test?
headliner removed, front seats removed? center console removed?

Remove and replace

Bill came to $1478.00!

Damn! it's in backwards?!

Maybe they have a customer policy that you only pay once/warranty for the same repair.  A lot of car dealers are doing that these days.  I LIKE IT!!

Now remember it will only break if it's raining and on the weekend.....😃😃😃
