Tail light/Blinker Module
« on: January 14, 2007, 04:01:15 PM »

Has anyone done the tail light/blinker module? If so, I installed it yesterday and after the installation the tail lights and the blinkers stay lit. Is this common or did I do something wrong?

If you're saying they stay lit all the time and never change intensity from lower to higher for brake light functions or blink for signal indication then you've got a problem.  If they do change intensity and blink for signals as you'd expect that's how it's supposed to behave.

Thats how they work all three lite all the time - Brighter when brakes are applied and brighter when directional is on

Thanks guys,
It was a little confusing because my buddy has an 06 UC and he was telling me his blinkers do not stay lit.
I said I know where I can go and find out, so again thanks

I fiddled with this one for a good while as well, since this same module didn't act that way on my old Ultra.  Had Renea out there check the lights as I made them work.  Like everyone else said, you're good to go.

Some of you guys might want to take a look at these...it would allow you to keep the smoke lens covers, but still show red for stop and amber for turn...it's next on my list of things to do...

Just another option to consider.

I have 69462-06A. Don't know if the "A" matters, but that's the current Dyna P/N. ;) Hoist! 8-)
