As a Bruins fan I have nothing but respect for the Hawks. They have earned it. Best coach in hockey IMO and Toews is a warrior

If Tampa can keep their team together, I would expect them to be strong contenders for many years.  The really tough part these days, in all professional sports, is maintaining the high level under the salary cap.  The fact that the Blackhawks have been so good for six years is a testament to the ownership, general manager, and a great coach.  Without a bad bounce last year against the Kings, Chicago would now be celebrating four cups in six years.  That's amazing.  The more normal course of events is like what we saw this year from the Kings, from top of the heap to mediocre in one year.

Congratulations Rocky Wirtz and all the Blackhawks.  You did us proud one more time.

Really enjoyed the Blackhawks this year.   :2vrolijk_21:

And the Rockford Ice Hogs (20 miles down the road)  The IceHogs play in the American Hockey League and are the Blackhawks top minor league affiliate.  Bryan Bickle, Corey Crawford, Scott Darling, Kruegar, Kosta, Niemi, Nordstrom, Saad, Shaw, Clendening, Teravainen, Bollig, Dahlbeck, Raanta, Pirri, Versteeg, Berti, Wisniewski and Reimsdyk from this years Blackhawks team all came up thru the IceHogs.  Plus others from this years team did rehab on the Rockford team throughout the season.  The Blackhawks are truly a franchise built homegrown team.   

Congrats to the 2015 Stanley Cup Champions!!

Here in St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit are our rivals. But we seem to always play poorly in the playoffs for some reason. :o

Then we fire the greatest coach in the league and get to watch him create one of the best teams.

Congrats on winning The Cup!

Ps: can we have our coach back?

It makes a big difference when a team allows a coach to build a team than putting a coach into a hodge podge bunch of players expecting miracles.
Chicago has great farm teams and as long as no one gets greedy they should sty together for a few more years
It looks like Tampa is only going to loose one player to free agency, so they should be back next year.
