I am wondering if the newer style dual headers will fit on my 2001.  I would like that style instead of the old one out each side type....

I used a set from S&S resently on my 2003 roadking. They fit perfectly and do not require any mods to the oil pan or changes. Also they do not produce what I call the "left side droop" on the left muffler. Any 2009 and up bike I have seen has this forward facing slant to the left pipe, including my 2013 CVO. Also the S&S pipes look very nice and install easily.

I have found a set of Krome Werks Tuck and unders for the 2001.   Good price too. 570 Canadian shipping included.   I am going to grab a set of CVO mufflers and fullsac them.  or buy the set with the multiple baffles on here.  I can stand the tone from a 2-1 pipe.  Thunderheader, my pro pipe, cobra,  all 2-1s I do not like.

I do love the sound from the sac'ed cvo mufflers.

I used a set of Klock Works super saver 4" mufflers on my ride. 2" baffle just like my fullsac pipes, and had the nice taper leading into the muffler. Sounds great, not to loud. $304.00 US @ Direct Cycle.com. Krome Werks are identical to the S&S. Good luck.

Yes, the factory style 09 and up headpipe will fit but you must replace the oil pan with the 09 pan, and drill and tap two 1/4-20 holes at the rear of transmission casting. It will improve the look and generate less heat.

The chrome Werks and S&S will fit if you order the right part #. FACTORY pipes will need the oil pan mods.
