V & H Super Radius
« on: June 21, 2015, 05:43:11 AM »

I'm ready to upgrade the stock pipes on my CVO Deluxe to V & H Super Radius.

My dealership says '…we've contacted Vance & Hines in the USA and they said they'll fit"

I then found this contradicting information on a suppliers site…. :o

FITMENT NOTES & EXCEPTIONS
Will not fit Rocker, Breakout or CVO Softail models

Who do I believe….?

Rocker , 2009 CVO Springer, Breakout and CVO Breakout all have 240 rear ends , that's why OTHER Softail exhaust systems won't fit them

Yours is I think a 200 rear ? Same as any other 200 rear ended Softail then

They will fit but your passenger pegs will have to be removed, I had them installed on my 2015 cvo deluxe, love the look and the sound, hope this helps.

Thanks Gmeikle….it certainly does have a 200 rear end.

Taking off the rear pegs is not a good option either.

What a bummer….perhaps I should go the Big radius.

Maybe you should actually talk to the good folks at Vance & Hines tech?

Great idea Don….I have just sent them an email.  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm hopeful I'll get a response in the next couple of days.

Try Old School, call on the phone and talk to guys who have heard them and understand what you need to know.

I received a response from Bob at Vance and Vines.

The rear pegs go back on after the pipes are installed.

Thanks CVO Don - it is best to go straight to the source.

Message: Dear V & H, I own a 2014 CVO Softail Deluxe and would like to order a set of Super Radius pipes.

I have been informed they will fit the bike but I would have to remove my rear passenger pegs.

Can you please confirm if this is correct?

Thanks,
