St. Louis Guys
« on: July 06, 2015, 05:16:36 PM »

Not sure if this is the right place, are there any construction tie-ups on I-64 West and I-170 North going around St. Louis? Headed to Sturgis in a couple weeks, and I'm not familiar with the area so the construction website doesn't help me a lot. Or is there a better way around? Coming from the south either on I-55 or I-57. Thanks

Not sure where you're coming from but I-55 N to 270 N to 64 W to 70 W should be good. Depending how far south on 57 you can cut over through Cape Giradeaux, MO bridge or Chester, IL bridge.

This loops keeps you out of the downtown area of St. Louis.

You can also take 57 to 64 W and the cut south on 255 to 270.

Hey Willie, I'm coming from Tn. and want to cross over to I-55. 64 to 270 to 70 is what I thought about. Any construction on 64 and 270? Many thanks.

I agree that I-55 N to 270 N to 64 W to 70 W would be your best option for getting through STL.  No construction on that leg of the route.   You may hit some on 70 W just past Columbia MO, for some bridge / road resurfacing.

Safe travels
