2011 CVO SG Dyno
« on: July 11, 2015, 07:12:09 PM »

My local dealership had an MVP party today for their MVP members and they offered free dyno runs.  I have the dyno from back in 2012 from the original owner when the motor was built but it has his name on it so this was a good opportunity to have one done with my name on it now that it's mine!!

I'd love to get my 110 putting out those kind of numbers. Does this setup seem fairly reliable...any cooling issues?
What exhaust are you using and are you still able to get 200 miles out of a tank of gas?

Absolutely reliable!  I have the V&H power duals with the high output exhaust.  The previous owner had the engine torn apart right after the 500mi break in.  I bought the bike back in April with 7,700mi on it and I now have 9,300 mi on it and it runs awesome.  Very streetable and I have no problems getting 200mi out of a tank of gas but that can vary depending on the type of riding I do.  No cooling issues at all either.  Just regular maintenance is all that's been done.  In fact, the previous owner rode the bike just the way it is all the way from here in MD to Daytona and back for bike week a couple years ago.  Baltimore Harley built the bike and did every mod on it.  I have the records of every mod and maintenance ever done and it was all done at the dealer.  At 20k miles I will have to change the lifters and at 30-40k change the rings.  I also do have to have neck bearings checked or tightened every 5-7k miles due to the raked triple tree and 23" front wheel.  It's a lot of fun to drive and is just as comfortable cruising as well as it is using that hp/tq :2vrolijk_21:
