Thank you Mike. So as I suspected the arms will get in the way. 14 is too high. So if you had to guess would 10 inch bars make the visibility better or worse?

My opinion is 10" would rule out fairing mounted. As others, I wanted the cleaner look as well. Find the bars you want for comfort level, and if the fairing mirrors don't work, remove them and cover the holes with one of the options available and install brake lever mirrors. Hand placement was my primary concern as stock bars and the 10" wild one 575's on my old bike were just too low and did not remove the pinching feeling I would get at the top of my shoulders/base of neck. With my hands nearly level with my shoulders, I don't get any of that pinching any longer.
