New 5 3/4" 67700144 Daymaker LED headlight
« on: July 15, 2015, 09:42:38 PM »

I have a 3800 lumens h4 bulb in my headlight that is pretty bright.
I don't know the total lumens of new Harley LED light. But I like the looks. My light is very bright but does not have a big difference between low and high beam. I expected a farther reaching high hibeam. My bulb was 65 bucks. Has a small cooling fan that cools it on the heat sink. You can hear the fan when light and ignition is turned on but can't hear it when motor is running.  I have a hard time justifing 400 on a headlight.  I seldom drive at night. But the new light look cool. Is there a big difference between low and high beams. Are they really worth it?

For looks yes. For lights nah. I run two Clearwater Ericas. 6,000 lumens each plus the day makers.

My gues is that the day makers are less than 3,500 lumens

I disagree, the HD Led asm that I put in my SERG surpasses any headlight system I ever used and I ride alot at night, always have. Cost is excessive but output is worth it.

What's the difference between the original 5 3/4" Daymaker and the new 67700144 ? Is the new one alot better than the old one? What's the part number of the old one? Maybe I can get a good price on the obsolete Daymaker. Anyone got a PDF for either one. I only have a phone to search with and it doesn't do all the redirects on Harley
Thanks Again  Guys
