Spent a week in London in 2011 for training.  Really loved it.  My wife was able to come with me.  We plan to go back, when I do not have to work while there.

I lived in England for a summer as a teen about 30 years ago.  Its funny how much its changed.  I guess thirty years has clouded the memory so I think of it as all the old buildings and tourist landmarks and forget that it was in the middle of modernization when I was there.

I still don't like the London Eye though.  Bleh.

Thanks for the pic tour.  Interesting that the bikes are parked in the street in front of Warr's HD.  And you were brave parking in that little space next to the bus stop.     har!  spyder

Very nice and thanks for sharing. I have been to London and several places in England many times. I don't recall seeing a lot of Harleys so it looks like they may be picking up in popularity.

Not been there, Pete.  With your pics of the city and surrounding area from time to time it just reminds me how much Vickie and I need to head over there at some point.  I'd like to have a month to travel England/Wales/Scotland and Ireland (on two wheels, by the way).  One of these days.....

ah! the Thames, all of the photos brought back good memories and thanks for that, must of been on a Sunday because I remember a hell of lot more traffic?
good memories for me up to a certain point
but the Thames was best

back in the 80's I got sent over to London to work with our counter parts for a month
the Director of the company, a female, who had caught hubby with his Mistress in the flat she did not know about that he bought in Thames Ditton,
kicked him out of the 3 bedroom, 2000 square foot flat right on the Thames and moved me in, by myself!
ah! sitting on the balcony, eating cheese and having a glass of wine! nice place
and had a super pub right across the street.
but tried to go into the city one afternoon, wanted to see soho!
but wrecked the BWM, His! that she let me use! 
(forgot which side of the car I was on at a light) damn that thing lunged forward hard!
