2008 Navigation CD
« on: August 24, 2015, 09:20:35 AM »

I’m new to this site, hope I’m in the right place.
I recently purchased a 2008 FLHTCUSE3 Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classic.
Bike came with out navigational CDs (3 disc set)
Does anybody have a set that I can get a copy of or know where I can purchase?

I gave my away long ago, I wouldn't spend a lot of effort as you will find the Nav totally useless unless you want to trust the audible turn by turn which is really as good as any. The screen is to small to see and you have to take your eyes off the road to often. Sorry, put most everyone I know feels the same.

I have a set, came with my 09.  Never used the radio navigation as everyone said it was hard to see. Bought a Garmin 660 LM and loving it.

I can try to copy them they may be protected let me see what I can do.

I’d like to give it a try before moving on to the 660

Someone else probably knows better but hasn't it been about 4 - 5 years since that system had any type of update? Road Tech 660 or 665 with free map updates would be better for continued use.

Hello Lid, Welcome to the site and congratulation's on the new CVO. I have the Anniversary addition and love it!
The embedded GPS actually works fairly well even though the motor company refused to offer updates.
HARMAN/BECKER under the motor company's agreement will not provide the simple NAVTEQ revision.
A fresh download would update points of interest and fine-tune GPS coordinates, but this doesn't prevent usage.
It only takes a little patients to learn using the address based system and the three pack disk can be copied.
I have found the copied disk fail to work after awhile and you will have to redo them over time.
The system will give you turn by turn visual / audio and with a little practice you'll love it.
Hope you got the "Advanced Audio GPS Navigation System" booklet with the bike as this will help speed the learning curve.
Again, welcome aboard!

If I can get my hands on a 3 disc set I will make my own copy.
Maybe several, then when one stops working I can move on to another.
