You'll need a 25mm axle and the wheel spacers for the 08 and up bikes. 11.8 rotors will rub in the older calipers. I switched the calipers to late model Brembos in order to use the 11.8 over the 11.5 rotors.

Yes it can be done, I've done it several times.
