Factory Slip Ons Turning Blue?
« on: September 05, 2015, 08:30:02 PM »

If you ever notice parts of your factory turning blue this is why. My 2015 RG Ultra CVO has just over 5000 miles on it, one slip on was turning blue and this is what I found when I took them apart. I think the factory must have built my right side muffler on a Friday afternoon leading into a holiday weekend.

Ask Steve at Fullsac but I've taken apart four 2015 stock touring systems and each has looked like your picture.  The stock systems simply directs more and hotter exhaust to the right muffler.  When installing the Fullsac Baffles, we've just re-used the left side packing with the tubular screens Steve supplies.  That keeps the packing away from the baffles.  I don't think anyone would disagree with you that chrome turns blue when it gets too hot.  We also all seem to agree that the stock maps are very lean and thus the system runs hot.
