I have had this happen several times...on routes where I have programed the start location and several way-points...when I don't start at the programmed start location and use the skip way point...for whatever reason the nav system try's to route me back to the start location...very frustrating... I know on my Garmin 665 it would ask if you would like to start from current location or navigate to start...this system seems unable to do this...Unless I am doing something wrong....HELP...if you can..LOL

If it does that, go to the menu (center of screen on right) and skip next waypoint.

I always have my home in the start and half the time forget to start before the first stop sign. When I do, I start at first waypoint.

I too skip first waypoint mostly. But I have found it adds it to the end at times if I try to start by picking the route in the middle. There is no easy fix other than don't program in your house as a start. Pick first waypoint as the start when programming route.

I wonder if HD is aware of this and other odd Nav issues...if so, I wonder if they are working on a solution to improve the process or just let it be...hmmmmm
