To clarify he was talking about the Fatboy S (my bad).
So we can confirm that information is wrong…?
Perhaps the salesman was trying to explain the difference between a regular Fatboy and the S version and didn't do a very good job of it. There is more to it than just changing the cylinders, pistons and heads (he forgot about the cams, the cam bearings, the lifters, machining the cases, etc.), and while someone can duplicate the SE110 with that kit plus some machine work, that's not how the factory does it. If he was trying to explain that a SE110 was based on the standard TC103 bottom end but used larger bores and pistons plus different cylinder heads and cams, then that would have been a more accurate way to describe it. And btw, while they call it a SE110, it's the same engine that's in a CVO Softail model.
Sorry about the smart azzed reply, but I get fired up when dealership personnel either don't know what they're talking about, or they just mislead people. If I read the situation wrong, I apologize.
