That cam even with the 10.5 pistons is not great down low, and the high out put mufflers will not help there either. Much better choices on a cam that the 259 in a cvo 110 . I have a sheet of two that we tuned one and it was not impressive in any way. Use a cam with a 37-43 intake close pint 580 ish lift and not one with a 46 or early EX open point. That will help the engine work well for both hp and tq with the 110

I had a 2010 CVO Street Glide with a 110 that I bought used that had 259E Cams. The exhaust was Vance and Hines dresser duals and 4 inch Rinehart slip ons. Was tuned with TTS Mastertune by Doc Weaver. Made 95 hp and 108 torque. On the Dyno chart didn't make 100 ft/lbs of torque until 3000 rpms. So yes this combination was a little soft down low, but very rideable. Rode a lot two up with my wife. Above 3000 rpms the bike really pulled hard and was fun to ride. Valve train noise wasn't any worse than the stock 255E cams, and very little throttle body noise at idle. I am sure with a different head pipe and slip ons I could have recovered some of the low end torque but I never messed with it.
All in all I was happy with the combination.

At 10.8 with headwork that cam comes on right off idle just fine. Similar to the old SE257 but less overlap.

This is the dealer recommended combo to in his words sharpen it up,
It will be going on a2016 cvo street glide in carbon crystal with phantom flames.
I will pick her up early January trading my2010 street glide with stage 1 103 vance and Hines dresser duals with monster ovals.
Hopefully I should notice a performance difference.

If the dealer has a good~knowledgeable~tuner, you will feel a difference. Probably +5 or so on both ends. I hope you are as happy with the difference as you will be with the CVO. I hope also that the day doesn't come where you miss the 103......best motor the MOCO ever built, IMHO. Good luck and warm winds.

Yeti
Had that exact combo of 259's and exhaust, except I also had SE 10.5 pistons and HD MVA heads.
I liked it, for sure a bit soft down low, came into it's own above 3k rpm. Fine as long you rode single. Two up
and lack of low end torque was a bit more noticeable.
Ended up with a set of TMan 625's. Bunch better down low, but don't pack out the top end as well.

Had them with SE 10.5 Pistons . It took a lot of dunk tune time to get the derogation out. Seemed to need a quart of 110 race fuel to each tank to get to run without spark knock. I thought the cam worked well 2800 and up, even two up on a limited . Except for six year where bit needed to be in the 3k rpm. The cam had an awsome part throttle response.
But a lot f money was spent to get 102 hp and 101 TQ

My new bike with pips and tune is 100h and 115 TQ . Unless I can get 10 more hp and keep th TQ numbers I X that seeto c ha he

Wow they are some serious numbers grofcvo, because my cvo will be new and fitted with cam and pipes from the dealer I get a 2 year waranty on all fitted accessories so I will stick with the screaming eagle set up for now and maybe go for a different set up later when the warranty runs out...
