What windshield do you like best? Looking for one that gives the same protection if not better than the OEM shield.

I vote for http://freedomshields.net/

For comparison .......... I went with 9" dark tint  (the stock windshield is 10"). Because of the top curve the actual measured height difference is only about 1/4 " lower than stock.

Freedom Shield - great product.
.
I have the 10 inch - wider at the top than the standard shield which pushes air around me - my ears don't ring anymore!

I got the 8" from Freedom Shields, works great, good return process when I first bought the 9", they let you send them back with no hassle.

I like the shields from Windvest the best,,,   I saw the freedom shields a while ago and thought they were too thick and that water could g into the fairing.   Just my opinion,,, I've been using the windvest for several years and very happy.       Stuart

Here's me muggin' in front of the Bandera courthouse.  The picture shows a good perspective of the Freedom shield, dark tint 9" windscreen.

Cheers,

Guess it still is available but Freedom has been offering a substancial discout to forum members with the discount code "CVO".  They have 4 tint levels in their shields: clear, light gray, medium gray and dark gray.

:2vrolijk_21: The discount code is still good! I just bought a medium tint shield for the RK.
