2015 SG with the black handle bar.
When I picked up my bike I felt it wasn't shifting cleanly. Meaning that while shifting I could feel the gears engaging in the transmission. So I bled the clutch line and it helped.
Then the recall came out which said that there was some coating in the clutch mechanism that was devolving in the Dot 4 fluid causing the clutch to not fully disengage. So I had the recall done and shifting seemed ok.
Last week while riding I noticed that the shifting was rough again so I decided to bleed the clutch line again. While bleeding the line I noticed that the fluid was dirty. So I decided to flush the line completely.
I drained out all the fluid then cleaned the reservoir, flushed 8oz of dot 4 fluid through the lines until it was clear fluid being bled from the lines.
The bike now shifts better than ever.
The attached picture show the dirty fluid drained from the clutch.
I am not sure if the lines were flushed during the recall, but at least I know where I stand now.
If you are suspect of your hydraulic clutch I would bleed the line and if the fluid looks dirty...then flush it clean. For me this made a world of difference.
