Jackpot 4" Dyno Tuned Mufflers on a 110
« on: October 12, 2015, 04:08:22 PM »

Anybody running these?

May need to step down from 2.25" baffles to 2" baffle mufflers, so I'm researching these and the Kuryakyn Crushers. I know the Crushers are good performers, but I'm not sure I'm sold on the sound- too quiet at idle, and a different thumpier type sound at throttle. Keep in mind I'm coming off Rineharts, which I love the sound of.

I know everyone mentions Fullsac, but I already have CVO mufflers with the 2" cores, so I know all about them. I'm just considering other options.

I ran Jackpots on my '11 RGU CVO.  I got them from Fuel-Moto, along with a PC-V and their map.
The bike ran great and I had no real performance issues, but I never got it dyno'd.  I don't remember if they were 4" or larger, but it seems like they may have been larger.  They had black tips on them.  They were very deep rumble bass sounding.  I bought them without hearing them and went on Fuel Moto's recommendation.  I was disappointed because they were a little louder than what we wanted on a touring bike that we spent long days on, and the bass rumble was deeper and different than what I was used to on the V&H pipes I had on my '07 Harley.  At the end of a long ride, my ears were thrumming for several hours afterward.  Not good.
This probably isn't much help, but I thought I'd chime in.

If they were a megaphone style and had black tips, they were the Jackpot Pro Touring mufflers. They are different from the "Dyno Tuned" Mufflers. I agree, from the sound clips I heard, they do sound too bassy.
