I made the switch to ed sets about three years ago. Good product. Everyone can hear the difference. Customer service is great. You can call and talk to Ed himself. Here's the link.

Edsets mentioned to me last year he was concerned about electronic interference with the rushmore models and his headsets.  I've heard good things about his stuff on older models.  Anyone tried his sets on newer models?  I've used J&M's on half helments for several years and like how they attach and features but consider the sound quality about like the HD sets, i.e. not much bass.

Using the EdSets with my '15 RGU.  Very nice product with no interference.  I wish it used the same cord to bike as HD but no complaints.  Definitely, better sound than stock.  I also use "No Noise" earplugs which, when inserted correctly, muffle the wind, engine and road noise but allow me to hear music, etc.    :2vrolijk_21:

Everyone in our HOG chapter with new radios that have edsets haven't had any problems. I wear a half helmet and use ear buds. Also like being able to unplug the mic and cord when not in use.

Good to know its working fine on newer bikes.  Not sure why Ed thought there was rushmore issues.

I have them installed in my Schuberth helmet. They are high fidelity speakers and mic, better than the HD headset.

I was talked into the Nolan headset when I got the helmet for our Alaska trip.
Pure junk! Mic failed 1st day of the trip. Had J&M installed at Sturgis.
Love the N44 though...Make sure you get the Pinlock. More then worth it in the rain.

I've used the Nolan in Nolan helmets for years in four different helmets.  Pretty much trouble free.  :nixweiss:  It's nice being able to talk to three other riders and not have to be teathered to the bike.
