They are designed to be a band aid for an exhaust system that has too little back pressure because the exhaust is too open.

Up to you if you want to have surgery to correct the issue (proper mufflers), or live with just the band aid.

Smart Partz is another company that makes quiet baffles for many different mufflers: http://www.smartpartz.com/index.html

If you decide to go with quiet baffles ($70) instead of replacing the mufflers ($600), Smart Partz might have one that fits the head pipe. Since their web site is set up to search by type of muffler, you would have to call their 800 number to tell them the diameter of the head pipe. They can tell you if they have any that will fit.

Never heard of Smart Partz . But, would like to hear from someone with Big City Thunder QQ baffles with a dyno run....
