Another stupid move!
« on: October 25, 2015, 11:01:23 PM »

Well I did it again with being a complete idiot.. After recovering from my last stupid move of not putting my gas cap on and dropping my bike then tweaking the handlebars I have the 35000 mile service and new rear tire scheduled for tomorrow. I had to work today so I went for a couple of hundred mile ride today before I got to work thinking I would just leave my bike there since I live 40 miles away and just take it over in the morning. When I was leaving work I had to move my bike to put it somewhere safe overnight so when I got on the street I thought "since I am changing the rear tire anyway I might as well make sure its all used up". Well yea I did, grabbed the front brake and instead of acting my age, I acted like a moronic teen ager and did a long hard burn out then let go of my front brake and screamed down the street too the stop sign about 200 yards away. When I got there I pulled in my clutch and though it disengaged slightly, I had to use my brake to stay stopped. Bottom line is my little assinine move id going to end up costing me something.. Since it was Sunday, no one was around (why I justified doing it) so just like last time I will never "own up" to this to anyone other than confessing here. Already told my wife the da-- clutch just broke on me today on my way to work...

Clutch is covered under the extended warranty.  Just had Jim replace my clutch pack on Thur. :2vrolijk_21:

But I was LMAO reading all the way through reading it.  Knowing you like I do.....I could visualize the whole thing. :P

Not a Harley clutch (of course..).
BTW, when I was going thru the Laguna's today I thought I saw you going the other way and person (who I thought was you) didn't see me so I made a u and chased the poor guy down to a stop sign. He is probably telling "stalker" stories as we speak...
