I've had my Pitbull lift for about 10 years and love it. I too paid a lot more than
$ 240.00 for it, but it was well worth the price. You hit a home run on yours.

When I bought my table lift I tried to sell Pitbull locally for $300 and it is air/hydraulic and looks almost new and didn't get any bites. So I kept it for washing the bike in the driveway.

the wife has been asking me what I want for my birthday (tomorrow) and xmas
and I really need a lift, especially right now since I'm getting ready to do the full blow clean

are there any concerns with a lift?
(I can just invision myself lifting and over she goes!)

you can slide in right under while on the kick stand and up she goes?
(with out going over!)

yes I know, check, check again and raise, check some more, and raise!

the Pitbull has gone to the top of all the lifts I've looked at

Did you buy it with air or modify it?  I would like to get and air jack.

I have not bought yet,
sent them a PM and asked a few questions but
Air? does it have to stay connected?

Absolutely no issues with the lift.  Bike on stand, slide lift through opposite side, check to make sure that it is under the frame the entire way..pump the foot pedal and the bike comes back to you and settles in.  It is a little unnerving to have the back come back to you.  First instinct is to grab the bars but no need to.
Would buy it again without hesitation..

Bought it directly from Pitbull--comes hydraulic or air/hydraulic--no mods needed

Once the bike is up you release and let it rest on the stops, then disconnect the air. A few pumps on the foot pedal will bring it off of the stops, pull the stops up and then release the valve and it will go all the way down.
