Wishing Chip a quick recovery from knee surgery. He had surgery yesterday and everything turned out great.

Thanks Richard and everyone else. After years of pain it was time for a new knee. The pain has been tough but the end result will be great. I look forward to the day when I can say, "Why did I wait so long?" A special thanks to my friend Bubba Love. Keith had his knee replaced 2 weeks before I did. His real world experience and advice has been greatly appreciated. I'm now 4 days into the healing and made 3 laps around the house today with the walker. Time, physical theraphy and the best nurse in the world (Nancy) will have me walking (and riding) soon.
Again, thanks everyone!

Chip, glad you are doing so well. I talked to Keith today and he said you and he had talked about what to expect. I know Nurse Nancy will keep you on schedule with your rehab. Heal quickly and completely. Happy New Year!

Just noticed this thread.  Feel better Chip.  Hopefully you're up doing the PT already and it doesn't suck too bad.  Heal fast.

I don't know what the big deal is with knee replacement surgery.  My wife had her's done a couple years ago and it didn't hurt me one bit.  Ha, ha, just kidding.  She was a trooper and did all the PT even though it was painful at first.  Now she has total mobility and no pain at all.  Here's hoping it works out just as well for you Chip.  Hang in there buddy . . . it will get MUCH better.   :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Chip - rest up, heal & up & get back in the saddle after the docs are done poking at you.  Hope your recovery goes smoothly!   :2vrolijk_21:

I would hope so.

Thanks everyone for the concerns. I'm walking and the leg is getting stronger everyday.
