2016 CVO Limited - Audio II Upgrade?
« on: November 28, 2015, 04:10:33 PM »

New owner here .... only have 650 miles on the bike in NYC area. I wear a modular helmet with facemask open most of the time and the sound of the stock radio is good. When the full face is closed with clear shield down, obviously the sound is impeded...

Anyone have Boom Audio II installed?I know this topic is highly personal and subjective, but I would like to hear positive or negative comments regarding Audio II upgrade.

Thanks,
Chris

Had a chance to hear the stage two audio upgrade today that was installed on 2014 CVO touring. I asked if we could ride side by side at hwy speeds to hear the difference since we have the same bike. In short even though I wasn't actually riding his ride but two foot from him at 80 mph there was a considerable difference between stage one and two. For me it was the clarity at higher speeds. I'll give you update after I install the kit and have dealer flash.

I have the stage two on my bike and I love it.  I did raise the stock windshield up to a 10" which helps with the sound as well.   Quality of sound in clean at all levels.  At high speeds you can still hear the tunes.  Keep in mind as I am sure you know, exhaust and wind plays a huge role in everything. I have Fullsac  2 1/4  in my cans.  Hope this helps.
